Winchester Ammo Issues Recall

The Winchester Division of Olin Corporation has issued a product recall of several lots of its Wildcat 22 and Xpert 22 22LR ammunition. The lot numbers are those containing letters: XN, YA, YB, or YC. The company has determined that these may contain double powder charges, possibly causing firearm damage, rendering the firearm inoperable, and subjecting the shooter to a risk of personal injury and/or death when fired. The ammunition lot number is imprinted (stamped without ink) on the outside of the right tuck flap of the 50-round box, or on the outside of the top tuck flap of the 500-round box.
