Marlin Issues Warning on Obsolete Shotguns

While working on transferring reference information from my old card file system to a computer database I came across an old warning that Marlin had issued concerning their obsolete slide action shotguns. I do not recall the age or the exact source, but it must have struck me as important at the time to file this warning in my old card file system.

Marlin Issues Warning on Obsolete Shotguns

The age of these obsolete models is now 70 to 100 years. The company strongly recommends against these guns being fired.

1878, 16, 17, 19, 19S, 19G, 21, 24, 24G, 26, 30, 42, 49, 49N exposed hammer slide action shotguns.

28, 31, 43, 44, 53, 63 hammerless slide action shotguns.
